Ladies 2s vs Kidlington 20/04/24

The ladies 2s played their final match of the season away against Kidlington in warm temperatures. With only 11 players, a lot of hard work was required for wanderers. The game started with Wootton looking strong and fierce, displaying great passing and control on the ball. Gill found herself unmarked at the back post and seized on the opportunity to score, reducing the deficit to 2-1.Both teams were eager for more goals but Kidlington managed to snatch another goal, extending their lead to 3. Despite their best efforts, Wanderers couldn’t find a way to break down the defence. The full time whistle blew, concluding the game with a 3-1 defeat for Wanderers.
