On a sunny day, the Ladies 4s faced a challenging match against Abingdon. They knew it would be tough but they approached the game with determination and grit.

From the outset, the team battled hard and effectively utilised everyone on the pitch. Despite their efforts, Abingdon quickly found their rhythm and scored two goals in quick succession, putting the girls on the back foot. However, the team responded well with a penalty corner, a precise cross from Sally found Felicity, who cleverly slipped the ball back to the penalty spot for Amie to hammer home, bringing the scoreline to 2-1 at half time.

During the second half the girls upped their intensity, demonstrating improved running and passing as they sought to equalise. Their hard-work and determination were evident as they pressed forward but unfortunately Abingdon managed to score another goal, sealing the game with a final score of 3-1.
