Ladies 2s travelled away to Leighton Buzzard for an unseasonably late time at 3:30 to play their 3rd team.
As dusk began to settle over the pitch, Wanderers aimed to bounce back from their previous week’s performance.
From the outset, Wootton established their intent, dominating possession and displaying teamwork.

Recognising that time was of the essence, Wootton threw everything they had into the final 15 minutes, determined to equalise. They created a few more reasonable chances, but Leighton Buzzards defence stood resolute, denying any further opportunities.
