We are very social here at Wootton Wanderers and we put on events that everyone can enjoy. Our membership ranges from 5 to 75 years old, so our social events team are tasked to be diverse as possible, dedicated to organising the best get-togethers and parties throughout the year. Our members and their families get to enjoy various events ranging from the annual summer BBQ to quiz nights, discos & curry nights! (other cuisines are available but curry seems to be a popular choice).
Summer BBQ
This year’s BBQ promises delicious food, refreshing drinks, and a perfect time to come together, relax, and enjoy some off-field fun. Whether you’re a player, family member, or supporter, we invite you to celebrate the spirit of our club in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. It’s a fantastic opportunity to catch up with teammates, make new friends, and strengthen our community bonds. Don’t miss out on this highlight of the summer – we can’t wait to see you there!
Junior Events
With our ever-growing junior section, we are planning to organise more activities for our younger members and their families to enjoy. A traditional sports day and rounders tournament is planned for this year along with bowling nights and cinema trips.
End Of Season
The pinnacle of the WWHC social calendar is the end of season awards night where players, coaches and their families come together as one to celebrate team and individual triumphs over the season just passed. The end of season party is a time to give thanks to everyone who has made a difference to our club and to give special recognition to individuals who have gone above and beyond on and off the pitch. Could you be a candidate for our next clubman or woman or under 18 of the year?
