MATCH REPORT L1 v Shefford and sandy

The L1s continued in their cup run against Shefford and Sandy L3s on Saturday. Julie opened the scoring early into the first half by slotting the ball between the keepers legs after a great assist from Anna. Julie added a second goal shortly after, showcasing her dominance upfront.

The third goal was a result of a well-executed PC routine, with Witty slotting the ball into the goal. Connie scored the fourth goal after a pass from Mason, sending the ball past the keeper and into the net.

Amy A and Anna displayed dynamic teamwork for the fifth goal, with Amy slotting the ball home.

Stabby made a remarkable run down the right side after the half-time restart, setting up Julie for another goal. Julie went on to score three more goals, capitalizing on short corner advantages.

The opposition managed to break the clean sheet by scoring at a short corner after Wanderers had an early breaking defender banished to the halfway line.

Wanderers 10th goal came from scrappy play in the D, with Witty claiming it after getting the ball over the line.
